At least 26 dead in Texas church shooting

At least 26 people were killed when suspected shooter Devin Kelley opened fire in a church in Sutherland Springs, Texas — marking the largest mass shooting for Texas.

President Trump urged Americans to “stay strong” after the shooting:

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families in today’s horrible and murderous attack.We cannot put into words the pain and grief that we all fear and we cannot begin to imagine the suffering of those who lost the ones they so dearly loved.”

Mueller reportedly close to charging Michael Flynn

NBC News reports that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is getting closer to bringing charges against former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

If indicted, Flynn would be the first current or former Trump administration official to be charged in connection with the Russia probe. NBC News reports that Mueller has been looking into Flynn’s lobbying work a few years ago.

Last Monday, Mueller charged former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and his associate Richard Gates on 12 counts — not related to the Trump campaign.

Pressure mounts on Fusion GPS

A self-described victim of the Trump dossier wants a U.S. District Court in Florida to force BuzzFeed News to disclose who gave them the dossier, The Washington Times reports.

Congressional Republicans want Fusion GPS to discloses any payments made to media companies to see if reporters were paid to spread the dossier to hurt President Trump.
