Bernie Sanders said his rival Hillary Clinton’s assertion that she will be the party’s nominee shows arrogance on her part.

Appearing on “Jimmel Kimmel Live” Thursday, Sanders was shown a clip of Clinton saying she will be the Democratic nominee. “Just a ting of arrogance there, I think,” Sanders responded.

Sanders referred to his recent wins in Oregon and West Virginia, where he won, and Kentucky, where the two were very close.

“I kind of think that on June 7, the people of California will have a message for Secretary Clinton,” he said.

Sanders hit Clinton for declining a California debate, calling it “insulting” to the state’s voters.
