Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump in Georgia, according to a new poll, this is the second poll showing her ahead in the state, which hasn’t voted for a Democratic presidential candidate since 1992.
Clinton leads Trump by 7 points, 44 to 37 percent, in the JMC Analytics poll released Monday, while Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson takes 7 percent. Another 10 percent of respondents were undecided while Green Party nominee Jill Stein receives just 1 percent support.
Clinton leads Trump in support among black responds, 84 to 6 percent. Trump leads Clinton 52 to 25 percent among white respondents. And Clinton leads Trump 48 to 35 percent among women. The two are virtually tied among men respondents.
The JMC Analytics poll of 615 likely voters was conducted August 6-7 and has a margin of error of 4 points.
